Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are William Peck, Yves DeLean and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bantongbakal throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Bantongbakal fails in his attempt to clinch.

Bantongbakal throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Deric slips a jab and a cross from Bantongbakal.
Deric changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Bantongbakal looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Deric wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Bantongbakal, who protects the arm well.
Deric thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Bantongbakal is trying to get back to his feet.
You can see the frustration on Bantongbakal's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Deric in side control, throwing shots but Bantongbakal defends.

Deric is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Bantongbakal is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Deric asserts his dominance and retains side control.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Deric wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bantongbakal keeps working.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Bantongbakal rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Deric moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Deric fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Deric throws a quick inside leg kick.
Bantongbakal looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Bantongbakal is breathing heavily.

Bantongbakal throws a nice looking combination but Deric bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Maning Bantongbakal is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Deric misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
No luck for Deric with that takedown attempt.

Deric is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Bantongbakal's half guard.

Deric has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Bantongbakal defend it? Deric steps over the head and cranks it - Bantongbakal is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Deric!
