Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jesse James!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Harrison King!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Hugh Johnson and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King thows a body shot but no joy.
King stuffs the takedown attempt from James. James gets slowly back to his feet.
James closes the distance and clinches up with King, looking for a takedown. James pushes King against the cage but King circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
King digs a good hook to James's body.
King scores with a punch to the head.
It looks like Jesse James has been cut.
King feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends James sprawling to the canvas! James rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can King finish him?!
James is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
King connects with a picture perfect right hand that knocks James out cold! This one is over in a flash!
