Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Diomedes Argosian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joey Rigatoni (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Argosian's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Drowning Pool - Let the Bodies Hit the Floor. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rigatoni uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Argosian.
Nice takedown defense from Rigatoni. No joy for Argosian on that attempt.
Argosian rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Rigatoni moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Argosian feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Argosian cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Argosian has control of Rigatoni's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Rigatoni regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Argosian, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
