Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mongo Smash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Chris Jones enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smash fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Jones on the side of the head.

Jones is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Smash seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Smash accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

That was a close round but I would say that Mongo Smash will probably get the nod.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
