Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bane Baphomet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Masaki Kimura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Baphomet comes to the cage accompanied by 2 Pac - Hail Mary. Kimura has chosen Yankee Station as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Masaki Kimura!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Donatello Bradman and John Mangel.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kimura has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Kimura there as he acknowledges the shot.
Baphomet missing with a left hand there. Kimura was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
A decent looking cross lands there for Baphomet.

Kimura is rocked!
Kimura takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Kimura doesn't manage to clinch there - Baphomet circles away.
Kimura feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Baphomet's calf.

Kimura has taken the fight to the clinch.
Baphomet looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Kimura tries a body shot but Baphomet blocks it.
Baphomet wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Baphomet managing to block the knees to the body from Kimura.
Kimura misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Baphomet.

Baphomet breaks from the clinch.
Kimura showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Baphomet.
Kimura tries to clinch but Baphomet is having none of it.

Kimura has managed to clinch.
Kimura tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Baphomet lands on the inside with an uppercut.

Baphomet breaks from the clinch.
Baphomet lunges at Kimura with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Kimura's hand.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A cross from Baphomet lands.
Kimura is still on wobbly legs! Can Baphomet finish him?

Baphomet rushes Kimura and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Baphomet breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Kimura throws a half hearted mid kick.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Baphomet dips to his left and cracks Kimura with an uppercut!
Kimura shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Kimura tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Baphomet paws at him with a jab and circles away.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Baphomet breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Kimura tries to close the distance and clinch but Baphomet swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Kimura seems to have recovered his senses.
Baphomet drops Kimura with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Kimura! Baphomet dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
