PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Petir Petrov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ceaser Marques (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Petrov with a nice cross.
Marques looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Marques throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Petrov tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Petrov shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Marques is trying to defend but Petrov finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Marques is defending against the submission attempts here by Petrov.
Marques wants to get back to his feet.

Petrov is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Marques doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Petrov.

Petrov is looking for a kimura but Marques is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Petrov to get the leverage.

Marques is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.

Petrov moves to the back position.

Petrov is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Marques has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Petrov has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Marques taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Petrov doesn't care though - he's delighted!
