Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dave Batista (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Quinton Evans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Evans fails with a takedown attempt.
Evans fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Batista avoids it really well and circles away.
Quinton Evans seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Batista feints and as Evans raises his hands in defense, Batista changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Batista wants to get up but he can't break Evans's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
