The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Almeida Junior lands a nice hook to tejas's body. tejas takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Leando Almeida Junior seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Nice takedown defense from Almeida Junior. No joy for tejas on that attempt.
tejas shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Almeida Junior as he avoids it easily.

Leando Almeida Junior has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of odezzi tejas.

tejas tries to get into range but Almeida Junior steps to the side and lands a beautiful hook that drops tejas! He's faceplanted into the mat, ass in the air... he's out cold! That's an image he won't want to show his grandkids when he gets older! Almeida Junior scores the big KO victory!
