Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Vladimir McCracken (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ahbar Chicouh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chicouh has chosen Sandstorm as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Patrick Alders and Albert Achterberg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chicouh fails to land with a series of punches.
McCracken tries to clinch there but Chicouh circles away.
Chicouh throws a leg kick but McCracken moved away.
Chicouh throws a series of punches but McCracken moves out of range.

McCracken looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Chicouh can do anything to dispel that myth.
McCracken throwing shots but Chicouh is blocking nicely.
McCracken is taking a breather. Chicouh says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
McCracken wants to take a breather but Chicouh is having none of it.

McCracken tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Chicouh is figuring out what he wants to do next.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

McCracken has one foot on Chicouh's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Chicouh misses with a jab, cross combination.
McCracken shoots for a takedown but Chicouh saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
McCracken pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Chicouh throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Chicouh throws a nice looking combination but McCracken bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Chicouh swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Nice sprawl there from Chicouh as McCracken shoots in.
McCracken tries to clinch up but Chicouh circles away and keeps his distance.
McCracken is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Chicouh looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
McCracken looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Chicouh will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
No joy there for Chicouh, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

McCracken closes the distance and clinches.
McCracken is trying to maintain a safe position but Chicouh gets an underhook and turns McCracken into the cage.
Chicouh has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

McCracken gets control of Chicouh's arms and successfully pulls guard. McCracken will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

McCracken can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Chicouh controls the pace.

McCracken isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Chicouh stacks McCracken on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Chicouh!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Chicouh is looking to take a break and control but McCracken is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
McCracken gets back to half guard.
Chicouh looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
McCracken tries to kick Chicouh off but Chicouh keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Chicouh stands up and beckons McCracken to join him on the feet.
McCracken tries to clinch up.
Vladimir McCracken is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

McCracken gets a clinch.
McCracken working Chicouh over with knees to the body.
Chicouh is trying to force a seperation but McCracken has the dominant position.
Chicouh wants to break free but McCracken has control.
Chicouh can't break the clinch.

McCracken jumps into guard, dragging Chicouh to the mat.
Chicouh really doesn't want to stay on the ground with McCracken. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
McCracken wants to stand up but Chicouh is controlling him.
McCracken looking to hit a scissor sweep but Chicouh is one step ahead there.

Chicouh looking to sit in guard and control but McCracken gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
McCracken pushes down on Chicouh's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Still in half guard, McCracken seems content to control.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
McCracken not landing any meaningful shots this time.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! McCracken's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

McCracken lands a nice looking kick to the body. Chicouh takes a step back to recover.
Chicouh throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Ahbar Chicouh seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Chicouh throws a front kick aimed at McCracken's knee but McCracken avoids it well.
McCracken tries to close the distance and clinch up but Chicouh swats him away and circles back towards the center.

and McCracken makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Chicouh really felt that one!

McCracken escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

McCracken has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Chicouh uses from the top position.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
McCracken has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
McCracken tries to stand and escape but Chicouh is controlling the position.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. McCracken lands a nice short elbow.
McCracken thows a huge punch but Chicouh dodges it nicely.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
McCracken tries to clinch but Chicouh is having none of it.

McCracken tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Chicouh paws at him with a jab and circles away.
A head kick from McCracken lands but Chicouh takes it in his stride.
McCracken changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Chicouh tries to avoid it but McCracken manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Chicouh to the ground. Chicouh escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

McCracken fails in his attempt to clinch.

A frustrated look appears on Chicouh's face as he tries to break the clinch.

McCracken drags the fight down to the ground.

Chicouh content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because McCracken has locked up a guillotine! McCracken's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Chicouh is holding on here and McCracken must be using up a lot of energy. Chicouh has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! McCracken gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
