Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Justin Faux (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vincent Quitoriano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Justin Faux! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Vincent Quitoriano! The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Summer Carpenter and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Quitoriano scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Faux doesn't seem bothered though. Quitoriano tries to clinch but Faux is having none of it. Quitoriano takes a swing at Faux's ribcage but misses. Faux swats away the attempt to clinch by Quitoriano. Quitoriano throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Faux rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Quitoriano moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Quitoriano misses with the combination.
Quitoriano tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Faux shoots in and bounces Quitoriano off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Faux drops back, looking for a kneebar! Quitoriano looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Quitoriano looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Quitoriano! Faux is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Quitoriano asserts his dominance and retains side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Quitoriano tries to score with some ground and pound. Faux controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Quitoriano is looking to take a break and control but Faux is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Quitoriano stands up and we're back to a striking position. Quitoriano gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Faux counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Faux.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Quitoriano working a defensive guard here.
Faux has gone for a leg lock! Quitoriano slips out almost immediately though and dives into Faux's guard. Quitoriano wants to control from the top but Faux keeps moving. Quitoriano wants to get up but he can't break Faux's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Quitoriano loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Faux has his foot on Quitoriano's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Quitoriano works his way back into a safe position though. Faux has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Quitoriano can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Faux is breathing heavily. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Quitoriano wanted to stand there but Faux had control of the position. Quitoriano postures up in Faux's guard and throws a big left but Faux blocks it. Faux keeping full guard, as Quitoriano tries to pass.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Quitoriano swings for the body but Faux moves out of range.
Quitoriano tries to clinch but Faux moves away and Faux counters with a one-two to the body. Quitoriano throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Faux counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Quitoriano! Quitoriano just holding on. Faux is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Quitoriano has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Quitoriano! Quitoriano wanted to stand there but Faux had control of the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Justin Faux dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Quitoriano doesn't succeed with the takedown and Faux counters with a shoot takedown. Quitoriano fights it but they end up in guard. Faux drops back, looking for a kneebar! Quitoriano looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Quitoriano looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Quitoriano! Quitoriano is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Faux is trying to escape and Quitoriano transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Faux is forced to tap! Nice work there by Quitoriano! Very nice indeed!
