Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Monty Reynolds (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Chomsky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chomsky is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Flex Feat. Mr. Saik - Dime Si Te Vas Con El. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reynolds fails in his attempt to clinch.

Chomsky pushes Reynolds up against the cage in a clinch.
Reynolds is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
Chomsky is looking to control Reynolds's arms but Reynolds gets an underhook and turns him. Now Chomsky has his back to the cage.
Chomsky lands a right hand that snaps the head of Reynolds backwards.

Chomsky misses with the head strike.
Reynolds trying to control the position but instead, Chomsky has worked for underhooks and has pushed Reynolds into the cage.
Reynolds tries to break free but Chomsky pushes him back against the cage.

Reynolds is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Reynolds takes an elbow to the forehead.

It looks like Monty Reynolds has been cut.
Reynolds wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Chomsky misses with some punches.

Chomsky has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Reynolds is trying to keep an underhook but Chomsky manages to get the takedown into half guard.

The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Reynolds has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Chomsky is working away from the top position though.

Chomsky takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Chomsky throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Chomsky controlling the pace.
Reynolds is trying to control but can't.
Chomsky is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Reynolds wants to get back to full guard.
Chomsky is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Despite being in the dominant position, Paul Chomsky just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Chomsky rushes Reynolds and presses him up against the cage.
Reynolds stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.

Chomsky drops Reynolds onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Reynolds is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!

Reynolds is rocked!
Reynolds is breathing heavily.
Reynolds tries to pull guard but Chomsky won't allow it.
Oh Reynolds is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
Chomsky lands a left hand.
Chomsky dips a shoulder and cracks Reynolds with a mighty uppercut! Reynolds falls back against the cage and Chomsky unloads with a barrage of strikes! Reynolds is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Chomsky screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
