PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jericho Datu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Giuseppe Omni (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Datu's entrance music is Ridin Dirty. A fine choice. Omni comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Search and Destroy kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Datu ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Omni dives in and grabs Datu's left leg, looking for a takedown. Datu pushes down on Omni's head and hops out.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Omni lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Datu has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Datu and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Omni stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Datu swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
