von Schnabelmonokel pulls out of a head kick attempt.
von Schnabelmonokel will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Al Hazan.
von Schnabelmonokel sneaks back into half guard.
von Schnabelmonokel is trying to maintain the position but Al Hazan is very close to passing his half guard.
von Schnabelmonokel actively working from the bottom here.
von Schnabelmonokel manages to get to full guard.
Al Hazan trying to control the position from guard on top but von Schnabelmonokel is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Al Hazan wants to pass the guard but von Schnabelmonokel is keeping the position.

von Schnabelmonokel is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Al Hazan throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to von Schnabelmonokel's body to avoid the submission. von Schnabelmonokel has instead reached around Al Hazan's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! von Schnabelmonokel arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
