Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kisame Hozicagi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Danny Boy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hozicagi tries to clinch up.
Boy defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Hozicagi.

Boy tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Hozicagi paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Boy fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hozicagi manages to avoid it.

Boy closes the distance and clinches.

Hozicagi fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Boy keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Hozicagi's efforts to push away.

Hozicagi drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Boy gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Boy will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Hozicagi up against the cage.

Boy rushes Hozicagi and presses him up against the cage.
Hozicagi tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Boy just stands there and leans against the cage.
Boy prevents the takedown attempt.

Boy pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Boy lands with a nice combination. Hozicagi backs away looking to recover.
Hozicagi keeps the fight on the outside.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Danny Boy dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Boy thows a body shot but no joy.
Boy tries to bum rush Hozicagi with a series of wild strikes but Hozicagi uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Boy doesn't manage to clinch there - Hozicagi circles away.
Boy misses with a takedown attempt - Hozicagi sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Kisame Hozicagi is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Boy wants to stand but Hozicagi has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
