The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice body kick there by Sousa.
Sousa defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Doe.
Sousa showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Doe.
Sousa lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Doe looks gassed!
Doe misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Sousa throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Doe was covering up waiting for the punch and Sousa finishes the takedown easily into guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Sousa stands up and waves to Doe to follow him.
Doe takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
It looks like John Doe has been cut.
A slapping leg kick lands for Sousa.
Sousa scores with the left hand. Doe knows he should have avoided that one.
Doe is rocked!
Sousa swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Doe counters with a straight right hand.
Doe is still on wobbly legs! Can Sousa finish him?
Sousa misses with a double jab.
Sousa thuds his shin into the meat of Doe's side.
Luan Sousa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sousa loads up on a big right hand but Doe slips the punch.
Sousa fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Doe to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Doe looks to clinch but Sousa throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Doe taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
