The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from Sclerosis does no damage.
Sclerosis fails with the takedown.

It looks like jordy velazquez has been cut.
Sclerosis stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Sclerosis lands a nice shot to the body.

velazquez closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - velazquez lands in his opponent's guard.

velazquez drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and velazquez jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
velazquez looking to sit in guard and control but Sclerosis gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

velazquez is looking for a triangle but Sclerosis pushes his legs off easily.

velazquez has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Sclerosis knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for velazquez on the ground.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Sclerosis got a little sloppy there for a moment and velazquez has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Sclerosis has managed to get both his arms back between velazquez's legs - danger averted.

That was a close round but I would say that Billiary Sclerosis will probably get the nod.
