Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gunde Sven (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris McCarthy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sven scores with a crisp jab that stopped McCarthy in his tracks.
McCarthy looks for a takedown but Sven sprawls well.
McCarthy fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

McCarthy closes the distance and clinches up with Sven, looking for a takedown. McCarthy pushes Sven against the cage but Sven circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Sven has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but McCarthy regains guard immediately.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Sven accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
