Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kuro Kumiko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy O Rourke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kumiko's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Enter the Samurai. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kumiko blocks a head kick by O Rourke.
O Rourke connects with a solid leg kick.
O Rourke misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
O Rourke throws a leg kick which misses Kumiko's front leg but catches the back leg as Kumiko tries to avoid it.
O Rourke chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Kumiko takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
O Rourke tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
O Rourke throws and low kick but Kumiko moves out of range easily.
O Rourke with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Kumiko looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
O Rourke misses with a low kick.
O Rourke will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
O Rourke tries a head kick but it misses.

Kumiko throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around O Rourke's waist but O Rourke gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kumiko off to one side.
Nice takedown defense from O Rourke. No joy for Kumiko on that attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kuro Kumiko. That's going to take a lot out of him.

O Rourke throws a head kick but Kumiko moves out of range.
O Rourke lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
O Rourke feints and then cracks Kumiko's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Kumiko down.
Kumiko is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Good work by Kumiko as he checks the leg kick.

Kumiko avoids a kick to the body.
O Rourke turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

O Rourke fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Kumiko is out of range.
O Rourke throws a leg kick which misses Kumiko's front leg but catches the back leg as Kumiko tries to avoid it.
O Rourke feints and then cracks Kumiko's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Kumiko down.
O Rourke throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Tommy O Rourke seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kumiko chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before O Rourke can pounce on him.

O Rourke finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Kumiko bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
O Rourke is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Kumiko asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Kumiko looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Kumiko swings around for an armbar but O Rourke sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Kumiko's guard.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Kumiko is on top in guard.
O Rourke can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Kumiko controls the pace.
Kumiko advances position into side control!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tommy O Rourke dominated that round.
That's time! Kumiko's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Kumiko checks the leg kick nicely there.
Kumiko shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Kumiko showed some decent athleticism there.
Kumiko seems to be looking for submissions.
Kumiko is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

O Rourke wants to get back to his feet.
O Rourke is defending against the submission attempts here by Kumiko.
O Rourke is trying to stand up here but Kumiko is controlling him well.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Kumiko is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Kumiko is looking for a kimura here.

Kumiko looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
O Rourke really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kumiko. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
O Rourke is looking to escape.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Kumiko is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! O Rourke is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
