The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Pino takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Nice uppercut lands for sverhy. That snapped De Pino's head back.
De Pino connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
De Pino tries to clinch up.

De Pino throws a right hand that sverhy ducks under and follows up with a left that sverhy also avoids with ease.

De Pino forces sverhy back against the cage and clinches.
De Pino is trying to maintain a safe position but sverhy gets an underhook and turns De Pino into the cage.

De Pino's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
sverhy swats away the attempt to clinch by De Pino.
sverhy wants to clinch up but De Pino keeps it at a distance.

De Pino has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
sverhy is not in a great position here, taking some shots.

De Pino is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt sverhy will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
De Pino seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down sverhy for as long as he can get away with.
