Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Genghis Khan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Extor Ace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ace comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Black Eyed Peas - Imma Be kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khan misses with a jab, cross combination.
Ace looks to land a combination but Khan avoids it well.
Ace blocks a jab.
Ace throws a head kick that misses.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Ace, right into the meat.

Ace shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Khan is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Ace pushes down on Khan's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Khan looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Khan is staying active underneath Ace, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Ace is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Ace is pressing down on Khan's thigh, looking to free his foot. Khan is holding on for now.
Khan is refusing to be controlled, as Ace sits in half guard.

Ace wants to control from the top but Khan keeps moving.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Khan throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
letting Ace counter with a right hand.
A punch combination from Khan misses.
Khan throws a left and a right that both miss
and Ace counters with a nice leg kick.
Ace lands a nice leg kick that just misses Khan's sensitive parts.
Ace keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Ace dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Khan. That did some damage!
Khan misses with a combination
and Ace counters with a two punch combo.
Ace fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Khan.
Nice jab there from Ace.
Ace connects with a good right hand that stumbles Khan. Khan circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Ace takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Ace throws a nice head kick!

Ace shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Khan is trying to defend but Ace finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Khan tries to get to full guard but Ace has control of the leg.
Ace is trying to control. Khan wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Khan slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Ace must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Khan tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Khan not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Ace connects with a couple of short punches.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ace with a nice head shot there.
Ace postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Ace stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Khan swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Khan is looking for a triangle but Ace pushes his legs off easily.
Ace wants to pass the guard but Khan is keeping the position.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Ace accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Ace working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Khan's head.
Ace tries to free his leg and advance position but Khan is retaining full guard.
Ace works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Khan manages to get to full guard.
Ace looking to pass the guard.
Ace is working Khan over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Ace throwing strikes but missing.
Ace is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

Khan is looking to sinch up a triangle. Ace throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Khan's body to avoid the submission. Khan has instead reached around Ace's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Khan arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
