Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Big Dog (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Crisostomo Ibarra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Frank Dennis and Tiny Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ibarra avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Dog throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Dog throws a right and a left that Ibarra avoids nicely.
Dog swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Ibarra moves forwards but Dog connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Dog tries to bum rush Ibarra with a series of wild strikes but Ibarra uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Dog throws the kick towards the body but Ibarra avoids it.
Ibarra shoots in looking for a takedown. Dog tries to sprawl out of it but Ibarra keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Dog manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Ibarra throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Dog's waist but Dog gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ibarra off to one side.

Ibarra has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Dog is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Dog takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Big Dog is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Dog clinches but Ibarra breaks the clinch

and Ibarra counters with a takedown into side control.
Dog knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ibarra on the ground.
Dog is not content to let Ibarra control the position.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Dog might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Dog tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Ibarra wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Ibarra seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Dog is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
