The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
BAGAYAS wants to clinch.
Aldo darts in trying to clinch

and BAGAYAS counters by moving into the clinch.
Aldo avoids a wild elbow strike from BAGAYAS.
Aldo throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but BAGAYAS blocks it with crossed arms.

The fight stays on the outside here - Aldo looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

BAGAYAS is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.

LORENZ BAGAYAS showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
BAGAYAS has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Aldo is working away from the top position though.
