Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Conan Barbarian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Shetz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
8 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Conan Barbarian!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Shetz!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, George Francis and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barbarian shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Barbarian showed some decent athleticism there.
Barbarian escapes and gets back to his feet.
Barbarian shoots in but no luck this time.
Barbarian dives in and grabs Shetz's left leg, looking for a takedown. Shetz pushes down on Barbarian's head and hops out.
Barbarian blocks a head kick by Shetz.
Shetz misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Shetz misses with a double jab.
Barbarian shoots in looking for a takedown. Shetz tries to sprawl out of it but Barbarian keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Shetz manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Conan Barbarian. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Shetz scores with a head kick.
Shetz tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Shetz misses with a few strikes there.
Shetz's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Shetz duly obliges.
John Shetz is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Shetz throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Barbarian takes the fight into the clinch.
Shetz manages to break the clinch.
Shetz tries to clinch but Barbarian moves out of range.
Barbarian blocks a head kick by Shetz.
Barbarian looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Shetz!
Shetz wants to hold on but Barbarian pushes him away.
Barbarian thowing shots but they're missing.
Shetz is trying to escape the mount.
Barbarian lands a big shot there that rocks Shetz but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Shetz is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.

Barbarian throws some wild stikes that Shetz manages to avoid easily.

Shetz is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Shetz is still in real trouble! Can Barbarian finish him?
Barbarian loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Shetz scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Barbarian land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Barbarian stands and salutes the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Conan Barbarian!
