Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rousimar Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and jason singh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rousimar Gracie!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, jason singh!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and .




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

singh has Gracie up against the cage in a clinch.
Gracie drops to a knee looking for a takedown but singh gets the underhooks and prevents it.

singh breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

singh shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Gracie manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Gracie is pulling down on singh's head. It's preventing any offense from singh, at least for the moment.
singh won't allow Gracie to sweep him here.
Gracie wants to get back to his feet but singh is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
singh wants to control from the top but Gracie keeps moving.
Gracie manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

singh is working to get back to half guard.
Gracie controlling the pace for now.
A nice elbow there by Gracie.
singh tries to hold on but Gracie pushes him away.
Gracie looking to control and managing it successfully.

Gracie is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, singh has managed to escape the submission attempt.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
singh is wriggling around trying to escape.
BOOM! Gracie connects with a massive shot to the dome!
singh sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
singh wants to improve his position but Gracie is controlling well.
Gracie stops singh from getting back to his feet.
Gracie working over singh with some ground and pound. singh looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Gracie drops an elbow to the side of singh's head.
Gracie prevents singh from improving his position.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
singh is trying to control but Gracie passes into side control!
Gracie has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

singh on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
singh is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Gracie decides to stand back up.

A chopping leg kick lands by singh.

and singh counters by clinching up.
singh tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
singh fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Rousimar Gracie has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of jason singh.

Gracie gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gracie prevents singh from getting back to his feet.
Gracie is breathing heavily.
Gracie slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Gracie decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on singh, up you get!
Gracie avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

singh feints and as Gracie raises his hands in defense, singh changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Rousimar Gracie dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

singh lands with a shot to the body.
singh displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Gracie throws out the jab.

Gracie looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
singh is trying to maintain the position but Gracie is very close to passing his half guard.
singh really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gracie. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

singh kicks off Gracie and gets to his feet.

singh clinches.

singh lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
singh prevents Gracie from improving his position.
Gracie has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. singh is working away from the top position though.
Gracie wants to improve his position but singh is controlling well.
Gracie wants to control but singh is keeping busy.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Gracie is refusing to be controlled, as singh sits in half guard.
Gracie tries to roll over but singh keeps him under control.
singh wants to lay and pray for a moment but Gracie keeps working.
singh wants to free his trapped foot but Gracie is holding on for dear life with his legs.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

singh forces Gracie back against the cage and clinches.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
A frustrated look appears on Gracie's face as he tries to break the clinch.

singh pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
singh changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Gracie tries to avoid it but singh manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Gracie to the ground. Gracie escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Gracie closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Gracie is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, singh has escaped the position, nice work there.
singh should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Gracie tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Gracie has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
singh is trying to control Gracie's posture but Gracie avoids it.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
singh is trying to get back to half guard.
Gracie wants to control but singh is keeping him busy.
singh tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Gracie presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
Gracie looking to control and managing it successfully.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but jason singh will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!



singh forces Gracie back against the cage and clinches.
Gracie jumps guard but singh stands there with Gracie around his waist. Gracie gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
singh is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
singh fails to pull guard.
singh tries to pull guard but Gracie holds him up against the cage and eventually singh drops back down to his feet.
Gracie drops down looking for an ankle pick but singh pulls his leg out and moves away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from singh.
Rousimar Gracie has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of jason singh.

singh is in trouble now - Gracie has advanced to mount!

singh tries to improve his position but Gracie has taken his back! Gracie has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will singh tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Gracie pushes singh away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
