Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Genki Sudo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pikku Prinssi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Prinssi has chosen Pulp Fiction - Royal with Cheese as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Genki Sudo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 1, fighting out of New York, Pikku Prinssi!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Prinssi throws a head kick but Sudo moves out of range.

Prinssi throws a left that rocks Sudo and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Prinssi dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Sudo regain composure!

Sudo is rocked!

It looks like Genki Sudo has been cut.
Prinssi gets to mount! Sudo was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Sudo wants to control but Prinssi is having none of it.
Sudo is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sudo sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Sudo is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Sudo is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Prinssi's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Prinssi's back!

Sudo is persistently looking for the submission but Prinssi is defending it well.
Sudo is trying to stick to Prinssi's back but Prinssi is turning into Sudo. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Sudo's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Prinssi.

Prinssi must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Sudo had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Prinssi defends it easily.

Sudo working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Prinssi doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Prinssi manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Prinssi is trying to control. Sudo wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Prinssi is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Sudo wants to control but Prinssi is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Prinssi is keen to just control but Sudo is a slippery customer.
Sudo is looking to improve his position.
Prinssi slows the pace down in half guard.
Prinssi wants to pass to mount but Sudo is defending the position.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Prinssi stuffs the takedown attempt from Sudo. Sudo gets slowly back to his feet.
Sudo shoots in but Prinssi avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Prinssi lands a head kick!
A kick lands to the mid section there for Prinssi.
Sudo is breathing heavily.

Prinssi misses with an attempted mid kick.
Prinssi throws a series of punches but Sudo avoids them all with ease.
Prinssi throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Sudo stumbling backwards into the cage! Sudo bounces back off the cage towards Prinssi, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Prinssi lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Prinssi celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
