Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bazar Daqui (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thomas Hammer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Tarja Halkonen and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daqui instigates a clinch.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Hammer.
Daqui tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Hammer just stands there and leans against the cage.
Hammer pulls Daqui into guard.
Hammer bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Daqui's guard.
Hammer controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Daqui tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Daqui wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Daqui is looking to advance position but Hammer has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
Hammer lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Hammer has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Daqui's face.

Hammer wants to control the pace but Daqui is squirming around nicely.

Hammer misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
