Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rhodes throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Lee.
Lee throws a head kick that misses.
Lee throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Lee.
Lee shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Lee controlling his opponent.
Rhodes is trying desperately to improve position.
Rhodes gets back to half guard.
Lee is figuring out what he wants to do next.

Rhodes has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Lee is working away from the top position though.
Lee wants to free his trapped foot but Rhodes is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Lee is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Rhodes is not content to let Lee control the position.
Lee prevents Rhodes from improving his position.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Lee lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Rhodes wants to control but Lee is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Rhodes pushes Lee off looking to stand but Lee dives back in and keeps control.
Rhodes knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Lee on the ground.
Lee not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Rhodes wants to control but Lee is keeping busy.

Lee winds up and cracks Rhodes with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Lee is looking to take a break and control but Rhodes is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Lee throws out a powerful jab.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Rhodes tries to clinch there but Lee circles away.
Rhodes avoids the head kick by Lee.
Lee throws a head kick that misses.
Rhodes avoids a punch combination nicely.
Rhodes misses with a double jab.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Owen Lee dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

and Lee counters with a leg kick.
Cody Rhodes is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Rhodes fails with the takedown
and Lee counters with a straight right hand.
It looks like Cody Rhodes has been cut.
A head kick from Lee lands but Rhodes takes it in his stride.
Lee lands a big head kick that sends Rhodes tumbling to the mat! Lee takes a step backwards and waves Rhodes back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Rhodes is rocked!
Lee grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Rhodes takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Lee cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
