Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Felipe Torres (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rmarkas Fletcher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Torres's entrance music is It's My Time-Fabulous. A fine choice. Fletcher has chosen Keep on Lovin Me Baby by Colin James as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fletcher keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Fletcher tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Torres swivels and escapes.

Torres throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Torres fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

and Fletcher counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Torres's guard now.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Fletcher drops back, looking for a kneebar! Torres looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Torres looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Torres!

Torres tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Fletcher wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Torres. Fletcher shrugs it off though.

Torres is looking to wear down Fletcher with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

Felipe Torres seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Fletcher decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Torres makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Torres.

Torres working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Fletcher doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Fletcher manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Fletcher has gone for a leg lock! Torres slips out almost immediately though and dives into Fletcher's guard.

Torres wants to hold on but Fletcher pushes him away.

The referee warns Torres that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Fletcher has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Torres's face.

Fletcher has hold of Torres's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Torres manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Fletcher cracks Torres with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Torres avoids a series of strikes thrown by Fletcher.
Torres sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Fletcher is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Torres looks calm but he's in trouble here. Fletcher gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Torres is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Fletcher lets go of the hold and Torres can pop his arm back in it's socket.
