A fine choice. Brawler Jr has chosen "Hard Knock Life" Dr. Evil & Mini Me as his entrance music. Will Brawler Jr looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brawler Jr shoots in but no luck this time.
Brawler Jr fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Maldi stalks Brawler Jr and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Brawler Jr's face. Brawler Jr staggers backwards, shaken.

It looks like Will Brawler Jr has been cut.
Maldi cracks Brawler Jr with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Maldi slowing the pace effectively.
Maldi lands a nice knee to the body.
Maldi lands a right hand.
Maldi pushes Brawler Jr back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Maldi lands a right hand.
Maldi lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Brawler Jr backwards.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Maldi.
Maldi misses with a hook from the clinch.
Maldi lands a body punch in the clinch.
Maldi lands with a short shot to the head.
Maldi works on Brawler Jr's body with a couple of short punches.
Maldi tries to land knees in the clinch but Brawler Jr avoids the damage to the body.

Maldi digs a right hand into Brawler Jr's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Brawler Jr's gas tank.
Maldi gets through Brawler Jr's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Maldi has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Brawler Jr regains guard immediately.
Maldi wants to control from the top but Brawler Jr keeps moving.
Maldi's corner is telling him to maintain position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Maldi thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Maldi is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
A decent looking cross lands there for Maldi.
Brawler Jr takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

and Maldi counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Brawler Jr throws a left and a right that both miss
and Maldi counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Maldi lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Brawler Jr at a distance.
Maldi throws a nice looking combination but Brawler Jr bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Maldi scores with a punch to the head.

Maldi moves into the clinch.
Maldi slowing the pace effectively.

Maldi gets control of Brawler Jr's arms and successfully pulls guard. Maldi will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Brawler Jr loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Maldi will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Maldi isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Brawler Jr stacks Maldi on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Brawler Jr!
Maldi is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Brawler Jr has an Americana. Maldi didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Brawler Jr is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Brawler Jr hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
