Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Drago (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nameless One (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Drago might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to SuperBeast. Ivan Drago has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ivan Drago!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Nameless One!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Robert Twigg and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drago throws a right and a left that both miss.
One staying out of range there.

One darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
One lands strikes from half guard.
Drago keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
One drops an elbow to the side of Drago's head.


It looks like Ivan Drago has been cut.
Drago trying to control here.
One sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Drago defending well though.
Drago wants to control but One is keeping busy and won't allow it.
One throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Drago has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. One is working away from the top position though.
One has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
One thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Drago's head.

That's one minute gone in the round.
One missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Drago takes a shot to the body in his stride.
One cracks Drago with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Drago rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but One moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Nice defenses there by One.

One drives through with a takedown into guard.
One postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
One working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
One is working Drago over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Drago pulls One in close to his closed guard and prevents One from doing any damage or advancing position.
One trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as One accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Drago is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
One has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Drago is working away from the top position though.
One is looking for a sweep. Drago is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
One is not content to let Drago control the position.
One is trying to control but can't.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Drago is looking to take a break and control but One is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
One is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Drago is keen to just control but One is a slippery customer.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Drago is just content to waste time from the top position. One takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Drago pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
One dodges the punch combination from Drago.
Drago throws a hook to the side of One's head but One sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Drago looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
One moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.


Ivan Drago's cut is getting worse.
One ducks under a wild hook from Drago.
One moves away from the strike by Drago.
A shot to the body from Drago misses
and Drago takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Drago moves away from the strike by One.
Drago swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Drago misses the shot to the body.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
One lands with a shot to the body.
Drago thows a left - swing and a miss!
One lands with an overhand left.
One avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Drago is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by One.
Nice cross by Drago.
Drago walks into a jab.
Good standup being displayed there by One as he connects with a hook.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Drago throws a body punch but One moves out of range.
A jab lands there for One.


Ivan Drago's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
One uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Drago has time to react.
Ivan Drago is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
One tests Drago's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Drago misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from One.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Nameless One dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Ivan Drago's cut.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


One displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Drago throws out the jab.
Drago takes a swing at One's ribcage but misses.
Drago throws an uppercut from half a mile away. One sees it coming and avoids it easily.
A slow jab from One misses its intended target.
One steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Drago.
Drago throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Drago misses the jab.
One ducks under a wild hook from Drago.
Drago swings and misses with a shot to the body
letting One counter with a right hand.

Drago gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows One to score an easy takedown into full guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as One accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
One is in close to Drago's body, working some short punches and elbows.


Jeez, Ivan Drago's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Ivan Drago's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Nameless One!
