Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Makunouchi Ippo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Odd Ramone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ippo kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Who Dat. Makunouchi Ippo could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Odd Ramone's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ramone blocks a head kick by Ippo.
Ramone fails with an attempt to clinch.
Makunouchi Ippo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ippo attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.

Ramone is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Ippo's half guard.
Ippo really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Ramone is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.

Ramone got a little sloppy there for a moment and Ippo has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Ramone has managed to get both his arms back between Ippo's legs - danger averted.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Ramone's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
You can see the frustration on Ippo's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Makunouchi Ippo has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Odd Ramone is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
