The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Nelson looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
iglesia looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Nelson shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Nelson was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

iglesia defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Nelson.

Nelson is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, iglesia has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Nelson goes for an armbar but he's not got it… iglesia turns into him and now he's in Nelson's guard.

Nelson working for a triangle but iglesia defends it easily.

Nelson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but iglesia can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Nelson is trying to keep iglesia in close.
Nelson is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
iglesia really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Nelson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Nelson looking to hit a scissor sweep but iglesia is one step ahead there.
Nelson bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in iglesia's guard.

Nelson drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Nelson jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Nelson passes easily into side control. Nice work.
iglesia tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Nelson is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, iglesia has escaped the position, nice work there.

Nelson looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

Nelson wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by iglesia, who protects the arm well.

Nelson has worked his way into a potential kimura here. iglesia is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Nelson yanks on the arm and iglesia is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Nelson.
