Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Carl Ramos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kirk Dillard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ramos comes to the cage accompanied by Na Goa Jail . There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dillard shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Ramos defends it nicely.
Dillard tries to clinch up.
Ramos wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Dillard tries for a takedown but Ramos sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Dillard gets the takedown into side control.

Dillard is trying to get an arm triangle but Ramos is defending well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dillard passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Ramos!
Ramos knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Dillard on the ground.

Dillard is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Ramos to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Ramos shrugs it off.

Dillard jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Ramos manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Ramos tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Dillard wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Dillard tries for a kimura but Ramos is defending well.
Ramos is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Dillard has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Ramos is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Dillard yanks on the arm and Ramos is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Dillard.
