Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gunnar Magnussen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johannes Sjogras (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Magnussen comes to the cage accompanied by Bloody Beetroots - Butter. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Johanna Lukiainen and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Magnussen connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
It looks like Johannes Sjogras has been cut.
Magnussen throws a series of punches but Sjogras moves out of range.
Magnussen connects with a looping right hand.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Magnussen lands the left hand.
Sjogras throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Sjogras fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Magnussen stuffs the takedown attempt from Sjogras. Sjogras gets slowly back to his feet.
Magnussen shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Sjogras defends it nicely.
Sjogras takes a jab right on the kisser.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Sjogras stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Magnussen.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Magnussen! Sjogras is out on his feet! Magnussen rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Sjogras is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Sjogras is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Gunnar Magnussen!
