Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ben Supko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Stonehouse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Supko kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is HERE WE GOOOOO!. Stonehouse is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Invaders Must Die. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Daniel Bishop and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Supko gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Supko's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Supko lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Supko throws a head kick but Stonehouse moves out of range.
Supko throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

and Supko counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

and Supko counters with a three punch combo that has Stonehouse backing up. Stonehouse nods at Supko to acknowledge the strikes.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Supko, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
