Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Marles Chartel!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Dillan Fox and Yves DeLean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gorski looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Chartel tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
A good leg kick by Gorski.
Chartel sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Chartel tries to clinch but Gorski is having none of it.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Gorski.
Chartel tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Chartel takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Gorski keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Gorski displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Chartel.

Chartel gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Gorski is pushing down on Chartel's leg trying to pass to half guard. Chartel is fighting to maintain full guard but Gorski has managed to sneak the leg through.

Gorski is looking for a kimura here.
Gorski throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Gorski thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Chartel's head.

Gorski wants to free his trapped foot but Chartel is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Chartel is not content to let Gorski control the position.
Chartel is trying to get back to full guard.

Gorski is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Chartel has managed to free his arm - good work.
Gorski frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Gorski lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Chartel keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Chartel can do anything to dispel that myth.
Poor strikes thrown by Gorski there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Chartel tries to hold on but Gorski pushes him away.
Gorski throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Gorski misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Chartel prevents Gorski from taking his back.

Gorski is working for a guillotine from mount but Chartel frees his head quite easily.
Chartel blocking the ground and pound.
Gorski wants to control the pace but Chartel is squirming around nicely.
Chartel tries to get back to half guard but can't.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Chartel looks gassed!
Chartel is in a horrible position here. Gorski smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Gorski with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Gorski cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Gorski trying to control but Chartel is having none of it.
Gorski throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Chartel because Gorski loaded up on that one.

And that's the end of the fight!
Tymon Gorski showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Gorski has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
