Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mikko Hantunen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marco Tammipuomi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hantunen's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Bad Religion - American Jesus. Tammipuomi has chosen Marco Marfè Parodia, Marco è Dens! Pubblicità Divertente Napoletano... as his entrance music. Marco Tammipuomi told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Hantunen, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Tammipuomi scores with a push kick.
Hantunen avoids a punch combination nicely.
Hantunen throws a low kick, looking for Tammipuomi's leg but Tammipuomi calmly moves out of range.
Nice defenses there by Tammipuomi.
Hantunen misses with a double jab
and Tammipuomi counters with a nice body kick.
Hantunen is breathing heavily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Tammipuomi looks to land a combination. Hantunen sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Tammipuomi misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Hantunen dodges the punch combination from Tammipuomi.
Tammipuomi throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Hantunen.

Tammipuomi decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Tammipuomi is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Tammipuomi lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

Tammipuomi winds up and cracks Hantunen with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Tammipuomi seems to be working for a kimura but Hantunen defends the submission attempt.
Hantunen tries to get to full guard but Tammipuomi has control of the leg.
Tammipuomi has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Hantunen is working hard here to advance position.

Tammipuomi has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Hantunen defend it? Tammipuomi steps over the head and cranks it - Hantunen is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Tammipuomi!
