The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adebisi moves out of range of the strikes.
Adebisi throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Bombom throws a hook but Adebisi blocks it.
Rene Bombom seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Adebisi misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Bombom looks for the body kick but Adebisi saw that one coming.
Bombom doesn't manage to clinch there - Adebisi circles away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Bombom lands with a slapping head kick.
Bombom tries to clinch up.
Adebisi swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Bombom throws an overhand right that lands on Adebisi's shoulder, as Adebisi tries to avoid the shot.
Bombom tries to close the distance and clinch up but Adebisi swats him away and circles back towards the center.

and Bombom connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
