And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Anni Minnemäki and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yankuba shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Lapio sprawls well. Lapio wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Yankuba gets slowly back to his feet.
Yankuba looks for the body kick but Lapio saw that one coming.
Lapio scores with a hook.
A left and a right from Lapio both land. Nice combination.
Yankuba misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Lapio throws a nice head kick!
Yankuba gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Yankuba moves forwards but Lapio connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Yankuba walks into a left hand.
Lapio bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Yankuba's head backwards.
Yankuba with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Lapio to score with a decent uppercut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Yankuba fails with a takedown attempt.
Elias Lapio has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Yatta Yankuba.
Lapio throws a head kick that half lands.
It looks like Yatta Yankuba has been cut.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Lapio lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Lapio punishes Yankuba's body with a nice straight punch.
Yankuba looks for a takedown but Lapio sprawls well.
Lapio throws a right and a left that Yankuba avoids nicely.
Yankuba is trying desperately to land a takedown but Lapio is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Yankuba.
Lapio throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Lapio throws a shot to the body.
A slapping leg kick lands for Lapio.
Lapio lands a jab to the head.
Yankuba looks gassed!
Lapio scores with a three punch combo!
Lapio throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Yankuba shoots in for a double leg but Lapio sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Lapio tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Lapio throws a head kick that Yankuba semi-blocks.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Yankuba takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Elias Lapio seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Lapio connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Yankuba is rocked!
Yankuba gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Lapio.
Yankuba is still on wobbly legs! Can Lapio finish him?
Look low, kick high! Lapio uses the oldest trick in the book to send Yankuba tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Lapio is absolutely delighted - when Yankuba wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!
