Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rampage Chang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Curtis Dean (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chang's entrance music is Elephant Man ft Ding Dong Dip Again. A fine choice. Curtis Dean struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 171.5lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Curtis Dean is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Rampage Chang!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Curtis Dean!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Patrick Alders and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Chang checks a leg kick.
Dean misses with a jab, cross combination.
Chang stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Chang wants it to stay on the feet.
Chang is looking to clinch but Dean is avoiding it.
Dean avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Dean closes the distance looking to clinch
and Chang counters with a one-two to the body.
Chang throws a series of strikes that have Dean backpedaling.
Chang misses with a combination
and Dean counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Chang!
Chang is breathing heavily.
Dean is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Chang has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Chang!
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Dean has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Chang off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Dean throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Chang was covering up waiting for the punch and Dean finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Dean with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Dean is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Dean wants to stand but Chang has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Chang has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Dean can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Chang is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Dean is aware though and is defending well.
Dean with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Dean gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Dean clinches up against the ropes.
Dean jumps guard but Chang stands there with Dean around his waist. Dean gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
A head punch on the inside from Chang fails to land.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Chang looking to stall.
Dean pulls Chang into guard.
Chang trying to stand up but can't free himself from Dean's guard.
Dean is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Chang rolls with it to try and escape but Dean cranks on the arm and Chang is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
