Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Meca Dozier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Toney Couture (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Couture has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dozier just misses with a punch to the body.

Dozier darts in and clinches Couture up against the ropes.
Couture prevents a takedown attempt there.
Dozier is trying to stall.
Couture gets underhooks to prevent Dozier's takedown attempt.
Dozier fails to pull the fight into his guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Meca Dozier. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Dozier lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Dozier breaks from the clinch.
Couture turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Couture looks gassed!
Dozier shoots in but no luck this time.
Couture closes the distance looking to clinch
and Dozier counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Couture.
Couture avoids the head kick by Dozier.

Dozier throws a quick inside leg kick.
Dozier lands a nice shot to the body.
Dozier lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Couture circles away quickly and effectively.
Toney Couture seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Dozier lands a big head kick that sends Couture tumbling to the mat! Dozier takes a step backwards and waves Couture back to his feet - he wants the finish!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Dozier connects with a jab, followed by a picture perfect straight right that sends Couture to the canvas, out cold! What a finish by Dozier!
