Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Powers avoids the body shot from Adams.
Adams misses with a body shot.

Powers bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Adams's head backwards.
It looks like Jamie Adams has been cut.
Powers shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Adams napping and manages to drive through into side control!
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Powers wants to control but Adams is keeping him busy.
Adams is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Powers is controlling him well.
Adams manages to get back to half guard.
Adams keeps control of the position for the meantime.
Powers is nestled in close to Adams, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Adams won't allow Powers to pass to mount.
Adams on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Adams gets back to full guard.
Powers postures up.
Adams lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Powers!
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Adams is in the full mount, landing strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Adams sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Adams looking to control but Powers is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Powers is trying to get to the ropes to help him get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Adams trying to control but Powers is having none of it.
Powers suckers Adams into throwing a sloppy strike and uses the momentum to reverse the position beautifully! Powers is now in Adams's guard!
Adams trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Adams throws a lazy right hand but Powers sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Adams throws a hook to the side of Powers's head but Powers sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Powers misses with a straight left.
The fighters circling - Adams throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Powers walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Powers scores with a jab to the head.
Adams comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Powers looks gassed!
Adams drops Powers with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Powers looks back up at him and smiles so Adams waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Powers is rocked!
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Adams lands an uppercut, right on the button! Powers tumbles backwards into the ropes, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jamie Adams!
