Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Samuel Sam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyrone Parker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Samuel Sam!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tyrone Parker!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Anthony Taglia and Russell Pearce.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parker misses with a straight left.
Parker tries to clinch up but Sam circles away and keeps his distance.
Parker fails with an attempt to clinch.
Parker misses with a hook. Sam ducked under it nicely.
Sam closes this distance looking for a takedown but Parker circles away.
Parker moves in looking to clinch but Sam pushes him off.

Sam gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Parker throws a big right hand that misses.
Parker passes Sam's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Parker wants to take a breather but Sam is having none of it.
Sam gets back to full guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Parker accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Parker has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Parkeris looking to pass into half guard but Sam pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Sam is in guard.

Sam is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Parker is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Parker wants to stand but Sam is controlling the position.
Parker manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Sam manages to get himself to full guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Parker accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Sam is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Parker looking to sit in guard and control but Sam gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Sam stays in close to Parker's body and controls the position.

Parker scores with a decent looking elbow strike.

Sam escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Parker gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Sam is breathing heavily.
Sam is trying to control the position but Parker postures up.
Parker loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Sam bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Parker's guard.
Parker has his hands on Sam's head, controlling the position.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Parker looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Parker has control of Sam's left arm, preventing Sam from doing any damage.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Sam wants to control from the top but Parker keeps moving.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tyrone Parker dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Parker swats away the attempt to clinch by Sam.
Parker throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Parker decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Parker wants to lay and pray for a moment but Sam keeps working.
Sam tries to roll over but Parker keeps him under control.

Parker wants to free his trapped foot but Sam is holding on for dear life with his legs.

The fighters are battling for position here. Sam manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Parker cracks Sam with a big right hand but Sam just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Sam wants to control but Parker postures up.
Parker cracks Sam with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Parker scores with punches from side control.
Sam is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Sam takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Parker tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Parker lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Sam down.
You can see the frustration on Sam's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Sam swats away the attempt to clinch by Parker.
Parker leaves Sam with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Parker shoots in and bounces Sam off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Parker won't allow Sam to get back to his feet.

Parker distracts Sam with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Sam is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Parker passes Sam's left leg - he's now in half guard.

Parker looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Sam with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tyrone Parker showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!



Parker shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Sam is looking to control Parker's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Sam avoid being mounted?
Parker working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Sam has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Parker is working away from the top position though.
Sam tries to get to full guard but Parker has control of the leg.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Parker cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Sam tries to reverse the position but Parker maintains control.
Parker is landing with some decent strikes but Sam is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Sam has hold of Parker's hands but Parker slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Parker is trying to control. Sam wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Parker takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Parker slips a nice elbow through Sam's hands, connecting with Sam's forehead.
Parker is looking to advance position but Sam won't allow it.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Parker uses his free foot to push down on Sam's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Sam.
Samuel Sam has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Tyrone Parker is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Sam is in a horrible position here. Parker smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Well Parker has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
