Gerra has chosen Queen - Another One Bites The Dust as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Halike avoids a punch combination nicely.
Gerra pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Gerra keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Gerra dodges the punch combination from Halike.
Halike throws a body punch but Gerra moves out of range.
Gerra takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Halike takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Halike swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Gerra is now in Halike's guard. A big mistake from Halike there, giving up the dominant position!
Gerra postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Gerra throws a lazy right hand but Halike sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Halike throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Halike tries to clinch up but Gerra circles away and keeps his distance.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Gerra is defended easily by Halike.
Gerra throws a nice outside leg kick.
Halike throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Gerra.

Halike ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Gerra throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Clark Gerra is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Gerra fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Halike avoids it really well and circles away.
Gerra steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Halike.
Halike punishes Gerra's body with a nice straight punch.

Halike sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Gerra wants to control but Halike is keeping him busy.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Halike wants to improve his position but Gerra is controlling well.
The fighters are battling for position here. Halike manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Halike throws a leg kick which misses Gerra's front leg but catches the back leg as Gerra tries to avoid it.

Gerra walks into a straight right hand from Halike.
Gerra is still on wobbly legs! Can Halike finish him?
Gerra fails with a takedown attempt.
Halike cracks Gerra on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Gerra falls backwards against the cage. Halike follows up with more strikes that drop Gerra to his knees. Halike keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Gerra! This one is all over!
