Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Susi Solmunen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Morgan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Solmunen's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Blood Is Thicker Than Water. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Solmunen misses with a two punch combination.
Solmunen shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Morgan defends it nicely.
Solmunen scores with a crisp jab that stopped Morgan in his tracks.

Morgan closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Morgan wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Solmunen, who protects the arm well.
Solmunen tries to bench press Morgan off him but Morgan keeps the position.
Morgan looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Solmunen is avoiding damage well.

Solmunen is trying to escape the position but Morgan is controlling the position.
Solmunen manages to get back to half guard.

Solmunen has a hand on Morgan's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Morgan takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!
Morgan tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Solmunen is wriggling around trying to escape.

Solmunen is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Solmunen is wriggling around trying to escape.
Morgan throwing shots from mount but they're not landing.
Morgan takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Solmunen wants to hold on but Morgan pushes him away.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Despite being in the dominant position, Jason Morgan just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Solmunen throws the left hand but Morgan avoids the punch easily.
Solmunen really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Solmunen throws an overhand right that lands on Morgan's shoulder, as Morgan tries to avoid the shot.

Solmunen looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Morgan!
Solmunen is breathing heavily.

Solmunen jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Morgan is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Morgan and Solmunen has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Morgan sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.

Morgan is controlling Solmunen's trapped leg to prevent Solmunen from advancing to side control.

Morgan has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Solmunen. Oh but Morgan has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Solmunen goes limp - he's gone! Morgan jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
