Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mauricio Ferreira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Pointek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ferreira's entrance music is Drop the World. A fine choice. Pointek comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Sevendust - Enemy kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ferreira manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Pointek manages to get himself to full guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Ferreira connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Pointek some visible discomfort.
