PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Peter Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Louie Lastik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lee kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Beastie boys - Sabotage. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee throws a series of strikes that have Lastik backpedaling.
Lastik walks into a left hand.
Lee misses with a wild body shot.
Lastik throws an overhand right that lands on Lee's shoulder, as Lee tries to avoid the shot.
Lastik misses with a body shot.
Lee scores with a one two! Lastik had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Lee has managed to clinch.
Lastik is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Lee manages to break the clinch.
Lee uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Lastik.
Lastik thows a body shot but no joy.

Lee takes the fight into the clinch.
Lee lands a shot to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Lee lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Lastik or not.
A right hook to the body lands for Lee.
Lastik wants to break the clinch but can't.
Lee stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Lee lands a nice shot to the body.
Lastik looks gassed!
Lastik misses with a punch on the inside.
Lee lands a nice uppercut.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Lee.
A left hand lands to the body for Lee.

Lee breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Lee lands with a nice body punch.

Lee moves into range and clinches up with Lastik.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Lee stalling the fight.

Lee breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Lastik throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Lee.
Lee connects with a looping right hand.
Louie Lastik seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lee darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Lee slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Lee darts in and clinches Lastik up against the cage.
Lee throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Lastiks head.

Lastik is rocked!

Lee breaks the clinch.
Lastik is still on wobbly legs! Can Lee finish him?
Lee lands with a right and another and another! Lastik is in big trouble! Lee lands again and this time it's lights out for Lastik! A quality knockout there for Lee.
