The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rambo displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Vol.
Vol has a takedown stuffed.

Rambo tries to keep at a distance but Vol has taken the fight into the clinch.

Vol drops down looking for an ankle pick but Rambo pulls his leg out and moves away.

Vol is pressed up against the ropes. Rambo has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Vol down to the mat. Vol avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

and Rambo counters with a shoot takedown. Vol fights it but they end up in guard.
Rambo is looking to work some ground and pound but Vol has wrist control.

Rambo stands and throws Vol's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Vol tries to buck Rambo off but Rambo is having none of it.
Vol taking punishment in the form of punches.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Vol tries to improve position but can't.
Vol is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Rambo off and has taken his back!
