Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Charlie Manuel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and james blonde (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Manuel comes to the cage accompanied by Ruff Ryders Anthem. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that james blonde was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

blonde gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if blonde can do anything to dispel that myth.

Manuel tries to close the distance and clinch but blonde swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Manuel wants to clinch up but blonde keeps it at a distance.
james blonde seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Manuel gets caught flat footed, as blonde shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Manuel feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
