The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

blackburn fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Ortega, pushing him back against the cage.

Ortega manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Ortega kicks blackburn off and gets to his feet.
Ortega fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
blackburn lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Ortega backs up against the cage.

It looks like Jaime Ortega has been cut.
Ortega misses with an attempted mid kick.
Ortega tries to clinch but blackburn moves out of range.
Ortega is looking to land body kicks.
blackburn throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

blackburn shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Ortega reaches up to try and control the position but blackburn seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Ortega rolls and tries to escape and now blackburn has his back!
Ortega looking very determined here, making life difficult for blackburn.
Ortega has his hands over his head blocking the strikes from blackburn.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
blackburn controlling well, preventing Ortega from escaping the position.
blackburn is trying to stick to Ortega's back but Ortega is turning into blackburn. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in blackburn's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Ortega.
blackburn looking to hit a scissor sweep but Ortega is one step ahead there.
blackburn will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

blackburn pushes a forearm under Ortega's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Ortega is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
